Lady Tiger Volleyball Team earns District title!

Your Lady Tiger Volleyball Team completed 18-5A District play last night with a record of 12-0 earning the District Championship Title!!!! They are 33-6 overall on the Season. First Round of Playoffs is Monday, 10/30 vs 17-5A Ennis. The match will be played at Madisonville HS at 6:30pm.

Tiger Band Success

The AMC High School Marching Band received Superior ratings from all 3 judges this past Saturday. This is the 15th year in a row that the band has earned this honor. The Tiger Band will compete this coming Saturday at the UIL Area marching contest in Galena Park.

Stratford HS Tournament Results

The AMCHS Speech & Debate team competed at the Stratford HS Speech & Debate Tournament this weekend where we had several finalists & semifinalists. This was our first tournament of the year with our novice (first-year) debaters, and I am VERY proud of them for how well they did at their first tournament! AMCHS Orchestra Region Results 2017

Members of the AMCHS Orchestra program competed at Temple High School for chairs in the Region String and Symphony Orchestras. AMCHS had 32 students win chairs at the contest, the highest number of any high school in the region. They will perform at Baylor University on Saturday, December 9th, 2017. College Station ISD Students Attend SkillsUSA’s Washington Leadership Training Institute on Capitol Hill

Four College Station ISD High School students, Tannah Brister (CSHS), Chloe Merkel (CSHS), John Adams (AMCHS and Spencer Williamson (AMCHS), recently joined in a delegation of Texas career and technical education students and instructors to meet with Senate and House representatives to advocate for career and technology education and Perkins funding. In addition to Congressional visits and leadership training, both students earned their National SkillsUSA Statesman Award, the highest achievement for a SkillsUSA student.
